You can run headlong into a burning building, and save fifty people from death...

...but if you do nothing to reprimand and chastise those who, out of nothing but selfishness and laziness and the fear of getting their hands dirty, would stand back and watch the building burn, then you deserve no respect.


If you are on a job, no matter what that job is, where either a few or a majority choose to do what is wrong, and do nothing to stand up to it, then no good you accomplish in your work will ever be good enough.


If you live your life, yet do nothing to stand up to those who choose to purposely harm the lives of others, none of the good you do in your life will matter in the end.


And, if you can only do what you are able to do, and choose to do nothing at all for fear of what other's will say, or what may happen to you, then no choice you make from that point on will ever be able to make things right.
